International Microorganism Day Workshop
When: 17 - 18 September 2024
Where: Istanbul Atlas University
Preparats containing different types of microorganisms were observed under microscopes, 18 different posters prepared on medically important microorganisms were exhibited, a Hologram illustration was displayed to provide an idea of the dimensions and sizes of microorganisms, and finally, magnificent and interesting designs of bacterial art were exhibited in the Bacteria Art-Agar Art corner. Some slide shows, videos and animation related with microbıology and molecular biology wıll be demonstrated inside hall. Some basic experiment on microbiology will be carried on for example bacterial inoculation, sterilization etc.
Objective:
To accompanied the organization, which aims to teach microbe lovers from all over the world on both an online and offline platform where they can share their passion and knowledge about microbes in our daily lives.
IV. International Microorganism Day

Where: Marmaris SİFİGU Science Cafe
This will be the Fourth IMD event organized in Marmaris by SİFİGU Science Cafe. During this event we are planning to followings; Microbial Game: A Coding Activity, Microscopic Observations, Competitions about microbes with 3D pen, Observing microorganisms with virtual reality
Objective: Microorganisms are confusing concept for children because of they are not visible to the naked eye. Therefore, the aim of the IMD 2024, increase awareness and knowledge of microorganisms in children through science activities, microscopic observation and various technology-based activities.
