The Bangladesh Society of Microbiology (BSM) is joining IMD for the 3rd year in a row with an in-person event full of microbiology in association with the University of Dhaka!
Date: 17 September 2022, 10am-5pm local time
Location: Department of Microbiology, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh
This celebration is aimed to encourage young learners to explore the world of unseen microscopic organisms that are important throughout our daily life. There will be popular talk, idea presentation, display, lab visit, interactive session, quiz competition and many more activities in a festive mode all day long!!
Invitees will be in two focal groups: one from college/A level students and another from University undergraduates.

Let’s celebrate International Microorganism Day 2022 together!

The Microbiology Students Association is organizing it’s first International Microorganisms Day event. We look forward to sharing the significance of microbes in our daily life through various activities and scientific discussions on this day.

What to expect?
An offline day-long event starting with exciting segments like quiz competition, case solving, poster exhibition & idea presentation, targeting the undergrad students of university.
Fun talks or discussions about Microorganisms and Microbiology, along with a prize-giving ceremony for the contest winners, will be the most attractive part of the event.
A Microbe-themed cultural evening will bring a festive vibe to this program.
