IMD in Turkey

On 17 September 2022 we celebrated International Microorganism Day at the SİFİGU Science Café in Turkey. On the day, a total of 12 trainers and 57 children attended the event.

At the entrance of the café we had a small exhibition with several posters and also agar plates with different microorganisms grown on them such as bacteria, aspergillus and paramecium. Children had the chance to practice platting microorganisms in Petri dishes. We also prepared a yeast experiment and there was microorganism drawing with 3D pencils.
