IMD in Argentina

On 15 September 2023 at the National University of La Plata we welcomed university students to celebrate IMD together.

We started with 5 lectures, which were followed by an exhibition of microorganisms on the microscope. There was also an artistic space where students drew on Petri dishes. In parallel, we also run a microbiology photography contest on our Instagram account (@dia.int.microorg).

The event was held, in a relaxed manner. The students were very enthusiastic about the lectures, artistic activities and stands. They also showed interest in actively participating in the organization of the event next year.
