International Microorganism Day in Bulgaria 2024

Where: RIDACOM’S area at  Park hotel Moskva, Sofia

This year’s edition of the International Microorganism Day in Bulgaria will be celebrated within the framework of 22nd National Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infections. 

The event will be held from 14:00 to 18:30 at RIDACOM’S designated area at the congress and will include diverse activities related to microorganisms and their crucial role in our daily lives. We have prepared special custom made games like our crossword “Microbes on a cross”, a quiz for the curious students and a Bingo game with selected micro species. Students and professionals will also have the opportunity to discuss and learn about the importance of the responsible usage of antibiotics and the risks of resistance in the opposite case. 

The objective of our event is to dig into the magnificent world of microorganisms through enjoyable activities while combining it with educational lectures on the topic. We also aim to provide a wider stage to the young scientists of this generation.
