The Bad Bugs Bookclub “discuss The Rose of Sebastopol by Katharine McMahon”

Where: Online (90 minutes duration, from 6.30 - 8.00pm UK time. )

The Bad Bugs Bookclub is now in its 15th year, with more than 100 books under our belt! To celebrate the 2024 IMD, we are meeting online on September 17th to discuss The Rose of Sebastopol by Katharine McMahon.

In our meetings, we consider the literary merit of the book as well as the role that microbiology plays in the plot. We also consider whether the novel might have value in microbiology education and/or public engagement.
